Step 1: Pre-Application Check

Step 2: How to Apply for School of Hospitality and Tourism Management

Go to https://admissions.usf.edu/application to access the USF application.

To start your application, create an account. Enter your first and last name as written on your official transcripts, an email address you want associated with your application, and a password that you can remember. Keep your password written down somewhere safe so you can log back in.

Step 3: Fill in Application

  5. STANDARDIZED TESTING
  6. CONDUCT INFORMATION
  7. MILITARY INFORMATION

Step 4: Upload Documents

After submitting your application, navigate to “My Workspace” and upload the necessary documents to the “My Documents” folder. Additionally, click on “Recommendation Request” for further steps.

Step 5: Review and Submit

You have now reached the final page of the application! Review all of the information on this page to ensure that it is accurate.

If you need to go back to make changes, tab to the section that you want to edit and save when you’re done. Then review your information to submit again.

At the bottom of the page, please type your full name and click “Save and Submit Application.

Step 6: Pay Application Fee

Pay the nonrefundable, $30 application fee.

That’s it! Once you’ve completed all four steps, the admissions team will take some time to review your file and render a decision. Now that you’ve applied, check out your next steps below to keep your application moving forward. You will be hearing soon from Aaron Reacher.

Step 7: Acceptance

You will receive a congratulatory email as you can see in the screenshot.

Step 8: Activate your NETID

You should have received an email from USF Information Technology after you submitted your application with information on how to activate your NetID. The link to activate expires after 7 days, so if you need help with activation, contact the Information Technology Help Desk at 813-974-HELP (4357) or [email protected].

It’s important to activate your NetID since you will use it for a variety of tasks, such as viewing your tuition statement and financial aid, registering for courses, accessing your USF email account, and checking the Admissions Portal. Do not share your NetID and password with anyone, and make sure you personally know your NetID name and password.

Step 9: Access Glo-Bull Start

NOTE: You will receive an email when your Glo-Bull Start checklist is ready for you. Please allow time for the Office of International Services to create your checklist after we have been notified of your admission.

All new admitted international students must use iStart to complete the Glo-Bull Start checklist. The Glo- Bull Start checklist is designed to guide students through all of the immigration tasks they must complete as a new international student at USF.

Step 10: Apply for Out-of-state Tuition Scholarship

$13 – $25/hour based on your qualifications

Step 11: Access Your Glo-Bull Start Checklist

Once you’ve received the email asking you to begin the Glo-Bull Start checklist you can access it using the following steps.

  1. Login to https://istart.usf.edu using your USF NetID and
  2. Once you have logged in to iStart, find your Glo-Bull Start checklist by scrolling Requests section at the bottom of the homepage. Click on the Glo-Bull Start link for your application.
  3. Read the instructions at the top of the page and complete the listed e-forms according to their instructions.
